  Come on guys. Back in the 60’s Todays NE Liberals were Republicans. They were still leftists, and Strom Thurman was a Democrat back then too. You know the segregationist who secretly fathered a Black child:) Typical Conservative, do as I say, not as I do.

  No shit. She campaigned for Barry Goldwater when he reinvigorated the GOP. Not exactly news unless you’ve been living under a rock for 30 years.

  It’s pretty well-known that up till about her junior or senior year of college, she was a Goldwater Republican.
